Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br />District for any applicable permits. <br />2. Any changes shall be submitted to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br />Department (EHD) for approval prior to commencing work. All new addendums <br />supercede the previous ones. <br />3. All components must be certified by an independent testing organization and labeled as <br />required by the organization. (UL, ULC, ANSI, API, ASTM, etc. See California Code of <br />Regulations (CCR), Title 23 Chapter 16 Table B for complete list). The component must <br />bear the appropriate mark as required by the independent testing organization. <br />4. Each person installing or testing any component must hold a certificate of training from <br />the manufacturer of that component. <br />5. Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal <br />supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of the <br />following: <br />a. One of several permissible valid, current contractor's licenses issued by the <br />Contractors State License Board (may be issued to the installation company), and <br />b. All valid, current California UST certificates issued by the International Code <br />Council (ICC), that are applicable to the work being performed, and <br />c. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the <br />component(s) being tested, repaired, or serviced. <br />6. Before the alarm history is cleared, a current printout must be created and available for <br />EHD inspection. Inspection may occur during the functionality test. <br />7. Contact Ray von Flue (468-9848) to arrange the following inspections (a 48-hour notice <br />is required): EHD must witness the functionality of the monitoring system to ensure that <br />monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of California Code of Regulations <br />Title 23 and the Health & Safety Code. <br />8. The monitoring must satisfy this facilities approved monitoring program. <br />
