FILE <br /> 680 QUINN AVE (OPY <br /> SAN JOSE, CA 95112 <br /> Re: RALEYS FUEL STATION#356 SR0079202 <br /> 4219 E MORADA LN <br /> STOCKTON, CA 95212 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)has completed the review of the <br /> application for a permit to install new NOV Smith reducer fittings(3"to 2")with vacuum ports inside the <br /> 91 STP, 91 fill, 87 STP, 87 fill, diesel STP, and diesel fill sump's chase piping, connect all chase piping <br /> (via instaled reducer fittings)to existing VPH zones(91, 87, and diesel, respectively), and install Bravo <br /> deflector plates on all existing dispensers on the underground storage tank(UST)system at the above <br /> noted address. The permit has been approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for any <br /> applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Stacy Rivera at(209)468-3440 to arrange the following appointments(a 48-hour notice is <br /> required for inspection appointments). <br /> • Sensor functionality and communication: Functionality of the monitoring system(impacted <br /> piping, STP, and fill sumps, etc.)must be verified to ensure that monitoring has been restored <br /> to meet the requirements of Title 23 California Code of Regulations and the Health&Safety <br /> Code. A copy of the alarm history shall be printed prior to performing the"cold start"of the <br /> monitoring system and made available at the time of EHD inspection. <br /> • Visual inspection of all piping inside the 91, 87, and diesel (fill and STP)sumps <br /> Verification of the dispenser footprints(piping, fuel filters, etc.)contained by the under <br /> dispenser containment sumps(UDCs) <br /> • Visual inspection of the piping within the dispensers <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the UST system prior to the EHD inspection <br /> and approval. <br /> 4. If concrete will be broken near the diesel, 91 and 87 tank, a secondary containment test(or it's <br /> equivalent)must be performed on the diesel, 91 and 87 tank once concrete is poured in <br /> accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines. <br /> 1868 E.
