ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> Mr. Tom Peltier PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> Central Valley Region Water Quality Control Board <br /> 3443 Routier Road <br /> Sacramento, CA 95827-3098 <br /> Re: Excavation And Removal Of Three Underground Gasoline Storage <br /> Tanks And The Attendant Aeration Of Gasoline Contaminated <br /> Soils At 1791 Charter Way, Stockton, CA <br /> Dear Mr. Peltier: <br /> In a telephone conversation with Kasey Foley of the San Joaquin <br /> County Local Health District on February 13, 1990, I was informed <br /> that their office has no jurisdiction over the above referenced <br /> site as these tanks were slurry filled and abandoned in place <br /> in 1981 and was, therefore, referred to your office. <br /> In a subsequent telephone conversation with you on that same <br /> day, the work plan proposed by Uriah, Inc. was discussed and <br /> approved. As you are aware, approval has already been <br /> obtained from San Joaquin County Air Quality Control and Capt. <br /> Hambrick of Stockton Fire Prevention. A copy of the work plan <br /> has been enclosed as you requested.
