Ref: Your <br /> Underground Storage Tank(UST)Program Inspection Report dated 01/05/2005. <br /> Dear Michelle: <br /> Ashraf"Mike"Ali,the owner of the site, asked me to look into and respond accordingly <br /> to the violations you noted in the above referenced"Report". <br /> Enclosed please find our responses to the various violations: <br /> Ref item#4: Current"Certification of Financial Responsibility & CFO Letter". <br /> Ref item#6: Accomplished by Afforda-Test <br /> Ref item #16: Current"Monitoring & Response Plans <br /> Ref item#17: Monitoring&Response Plans have been made a part of the <br /> Designated Operators Notebook to be kept on site at all times. <br /> Ref item#18: Although previous "Maintenance & Monitoring Records" are not <br /> available, responsible personnel have been instructed by the newly <br /> assigned Designated Operator on the proper procedures concerning <br /> the Monitoring System and the handling and disposition of alarms. <br /> A"Monitoring System Log"has been made a part of the <br /> Designated Operators Notebook and will be kept current at all <br /> times. Further, a copy of the alarm notice and all follow-up action <br /> paperwork will also be attached to and made a part of the"Log" <br /> Ref item#19: Accomplished by Afforda-Test. Note: Owner is currently looking <br /> into upgrading the Monitoring System to include"Positive <br /> Shutdown"thereby eliminating the need for an annual"Line <br /> Tightness Test". <br />
