SECTION 3 <br /> EVACUATION PROCEDURES <br /> In the event of an emergency in which evacuation is determined <br /> necessary , the Store Manager , Asst . Manager , or• when no Manager• is <br /> on duty an employee will lead the evacuation of customers and <br /> fellow employees . Shifts have an average of two ( 2) persons , and <br /> this varies with the seasons and economic conditions . A current <br /> store schedule is attached . <br /> Employees and customers inside the store are warned of an emergency <br /> by verbal notification . Employees and customers outside the <br /> building will be warned by an outside intercom system and verbal <br /> notification . <br /> Evacuation routes are posted in the employee break room and are <br /> attached to this document . <br /> Employees will assemble in the following areas indicated for• their <br /> location . The following is a detailed location for• each store : <br /> #2 Exxon price sign on southeast corner of property , corner• of <br /> Yosemite and Northwoods Ave . <br /> #3 Exxon price sign on northwest corner of property , corner, of <br /> Yosemite and Airport . <br /> #4 Pay phones at Southwest corner• of property . <br /> #5 Back of building near light post on Southeast driveway . <br /> SURROUNDING OCCUPANCIES AND LAND USE WITHIN 1/8 MILE : <br /> NORTH SOUTH <br /> #2 Commercial /Residential Commercial /Open Space <br /> #3 Residential Residential <br /> #4 Open Space Residential /Open Space <br /> #5 Open Space/Residential Commercial /Residential <br /> #6 Commercial /Residential Commercial /Residential <br /> EAST WEST <br /> #2 Commercial /Residential Commercial /Open Space <br /> #3 Residential /Hospital Residential /Open Space <br /> #4 Freeway Open Space-Agriculture <br /> #5 Open Space/Residential Commercial /Residential <br /> #6 Residential Commercial /Residential <br /> IL <br />
