The permit has been approved with the following conditions:
1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for any
applicable permits and requirements.
2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to
commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones.
3. Contact Aaron Hang at (209) 468-3453 to arrange the following appointments (a 48-hour notice is
required for inspection appointments).
Secondary piping soap test: One-hour pressure test for all exposed piping, per
manufacturer's guidelines. If there are no manufacturer's guidelines. Test shall be performed
using an applicable method specified in an industry code or engineering standard.
Secondary containment piping pressure test(after surface repairs/restoration)
24-hour hydrostatic test (or equivalent) on any impacted/exposed UDC sump(s), as
applicable.
Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the UST system prior to the EHD inspection
and approval.
4. Since concrete will be broken near the 89 tank, a secondary containment test must be performed on
the 89 tank once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines.
5. Secondary containment testing for the impacted piping is required six months after installation.
Provide 48 hours notification to the EHD when this test is scheduled.
