Pescadero Avenue in Tracy, CA
95304-8501
Mr. Ng:
Our Environmental Services Department just received your attached inspection report
dated June 27, 2006. I have asked Chris Roy, Equipment Manager at the Tracy facility,
to immediately forward all future inspection reports from your department to me so that I
can ensure that all items listed are addressed in a timely manner.
All of the items in your inspection report have been addressed. In fact, in regards to Item
#32, you were physically present for the gear oil annular sensor replacement. In addition,
you were also present for the waste oil annular sensor replacement, an item not noted in
your inspection report. In regards to Items #24 and 26, our tank testing vendor, Shirley
Environmental Testing, LLC, has scheduled monitoring certification and spill bucket
testing for Wednesday, May 23rd of next year. Since monitoring certification and spill
bucket testing was performed on June 27th of this year, next year's testing date will meet
annual scheduled testing requirements. In regards to Item #21, Chris Roy has reported
that all liquid has been removed from the sumps noted in your inspection report and
properly disposed of by Clearwater Environmental. In the future, Chris Roy will ensure
that the sumps remain clean and dry.
If you have any questions or comments, please direct them to me at (913)344-3644.
Sincerely,
Ruben Byerley, Supervisor — Environmental Services
Attachment
Cc:
Steve Shinners
Chris Roy
