Spill Containment- OPW EVR Thread-on or OPW/POMECO EVR Multi-Port Spill Containers are
certified for installation on the OPW Phase 1 EVR system. All fill ports in these spill containers
_ feature enhanced IDK-2100-EVR vapor tight drain valves that exceed the EVR requirements far
a maximum vapor leak rate of 0.17CFH at 2.0 inches H2O. The vapor return spill containers
feature a,permanent plug installed in the drain ports, as per EVR requirements.
_ Overfill Prevention -The OPW 6150-40OC-EVR Series Overfill Prevention Valves are certified for
1 installation on theOPWPhase 1 EVR system. The vapor tight EVR 61SO's are designed to provide
positive shut-off of product delivery, before an overfill condition occurs, per EPA requirements,
I without intervention from the transport driver. The valve features a sealed float pivot and a
threaded lowe tube connection, and exceeds the EVR requirement for a maximum vapor leak
r° rate of 0.17CFH at 2.0 inches H2O. The 61 SO-EVR Series Valve is installed in the base of the OPW
EVR Spill Container with the patent pending 61JSK Jack Screw device. This configuration allows
liquid in the spill container to be drained directly into the drop tube, thereby isolating the drain
valve from the tank ullage, eliminating a notorious leak point in previous systems.
1 - Tank Bottom Protector- The OPW/POMECO 6111-1400 Tank Bottom Protector is EVR certified
for installation at the bottom of the overfill prevention valve drop tube to help prevent the
underground storage tank from sustaining damage from erosion or tank gauging sticks.
i
Ball Float and 233 Extractor-The OPW 53VML Ball Float, 233 Extractor and
oealr
61T Fill Drop Tube configuration can be installed as an alternative to the 6150
=` Overfill application. The installation of the Ball Float/Drop Tube system is
identical to the 61 SO Overfill Valve on the OPW Phase I Vapor Recovery System.
Rotatable Swivel Adaptors (Fill and Vapor) - OPW EVR Rotatable Swivel Adaptors are certified
for installation on the fill and vapor ports on the OPW Phase 1 EVR system. OPW Swivel Adaptors
provide 360 degrees of rotation of any product or vapor recovery elbow to prevent the adaptors
from loosening on the spill container risers. OPW Swivel Adaptors exceed the EVR requirement to
maintain a minimum 360-degree rotation with an average static torque not to exceed 108 inch-
pounds (9 foot-pounds). The enhanced po pet system on the DPW 61VSA-EVR vapor swivel
adaptor provides a vapor tight seal w p
P g when closed per EVR requirements.
P
Adaptor Tool -An OPW 615A-TOOL is required to ensure proper installation of DPW Rotatable
ill
I Swivel Adaptors, spill containers and threaded riser adaptors, per EVR requirements. The
t r
61 SA-TOOL includes provisions for the use of a torque wrench to facilitate accurate installation
9s, and testing
Dust Caps (Fill&Vapor) = DPW EVR Dust Caps are certified for installation on
l OPW EVR Certified Rotatable Adaptors. DPW EVR Certified Dust Caps feature
( enhanced ribbed seals and increased sealing forces to provide a bubble-tight
seal, per EVR requirements. Available inburatuff or low-profile metal models.
' s
Threaded Riser Adaptor(Face Seal Adaptor) -An OPW FSA-400 Threaded Riser Face Seal
u Adaptor is required to provide a flat;true sealing surface on threaded pipes where a gasket seal
exists per EVR requirements. The FSA-400 is installed on the fill pipe riser below the spill
container to provide a true sealing surface for the drop tube flange on the 61 SO-40OC-EVR
l - Overfill Prevention Valves, The FSA-400 is also required on tank gauging risers, though is
_ I optional on vapor risers and rotatable adaptors.
Pressure Vacuum Vent- The OPW 623V Pressure Vacuum Vent is certified for installation on the
OPW Phase 1 EVR system. The 623V's are installed on the top of the ventes
i
p p for underground
fuel storage tanks. The vent cap and internal wire screen are designed to protect the tank vent
_a lines against intrusion and blockage from water, debris or insects.A normally closed poppet in
i the valve opens at a predetermined pressure or vacuum setting to allow the tank to vent The
L. __I 623V exceeds the EVR requirement of a maximum vapor leak rate of 0.17CFH at 2.0 inches H2O.
