SOIL SAMPLING <br /> Soil samples fin- chemical analysis vVill he collected in cleaned, <br /> thin-walled brass tubes, 0" lung by 2" outside cli<1111ctu : I he spoil <br /> samples will be collected from the excavation by filling the tuhcs <br /> with soil material dug from the sidewall or bottom of the <br /> excavation by a backhoe or excavator. - The tube will be <br /> hei .::etically sealed, labeled and refrigerated for delivery, under <br /> strict chain-ol custody, to the analytical laboratory. <br /> Water Sanrplin2 <br /> Water samples would be collected using a disposable Bailor which <br /> is lowered into the excavation, water would be decanted into 40- <br /> MI VOA vial/bottle, and a cap would be quickly secured.
