The 2 - 2000 gallon fuel tanks will be hydrostatically tested by u
prior to 8-1-87. We will furnish you with copies of the test reposs
and results.
2. The anular space on the 2 - 2000 gallon fuel tanks are already bei g
monitored manually, on a daily basis and logged by Bobcat Central
employees.
3. The product piping on the 2 - 2000 gallon fuel tanks is double wall
and drains back to a containment tube, surrounding the submerged pgmp
head assembly on top of the tank. This is also monitored visually.
4. The waste oil tank is a double wall tank. Prior to 8-1-87 we will
install a petrometor model 20-TX leak alarm to monitor the anular space
on this tank. This was mentioned in our letter to your department
dated 4-1-87.
5. We are attaching 2 copies of a drawing showing both the location o
the waste oil tank in relation to the building and the elevations
of same. Per the elevations on this drawing the bottom of the sump
in the shop floor is 9 3/411 lower then the top of the fill riser o
the tank. Therefore for spill purposes it can be monitored visuall
as the oil will back up in the sump prior to running out top of fill
riser. Also the fill riser has a liquid tite cap on it.
We apologize for having taken so long in getting this information to you,
but due to a very busy schedule at present, we had a delay in obtaining the
elevations for the waste oil tank plan.
We trust that you will concur with all of the above and approve the time
frame we are proposing to complete same. If any questions should arise, please
feel free to call. Sin erely
or
Keith A. Tallia
President
