Actual local groundwater depth and flow direction can be influenced by additional factors <br /> such as underground structures, seasonal fluctuations, soil and bedrock geoloi y, and <br /> production wells, none of which were considered during this study. <br /> 6.0 HISTORICAL REVIEW <br /> 6.1 Prior Ownership and Use <br /> ATC contacted the San Joaquin County Community Development Dep rtment <br /> (SJCCDD) on April 5, 2001. SJCCDD personnel stated that address 1113 Shaw Road <br /> was also identified as APN 143-270-42. ATC requested to review the h storical <br /> building permits for the site and was informed that the files are not computerized and <br /> ATC reviewed historical log books for building permits. The only permits on Me were <br /> for the construction of the current building and the installation of the three USTs in <br /> 1985. <br /> 6.2 San Joaquin County Planning Department <br /> According to the San Joaquin County Planning Department, the site is zo ed IW, <br /> industrial warehouse. <br /> 6.3 Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps <br /> A search for historical Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps for the site was conducted through <br /> EDR of Southport, Connecticut. No coverage was identified for the site (see Appendix <br /> A). <br /> 6.4 Aerial Photographs <br /> Readily available aerial photographs to assess the historical land use and development <br /> of the site and site vicinity were obtained from the San Joaquin County lanning <br /> Department. Aerial photographs dated 1937, 1952, 1963, 1975, and 1983 were <br /> available for review. Copies of the aerial photographs are presented in Aerial <br /> Photographs 1 through 5. Obvious indicators of potential sources of hazardous waste <br /> from land use, such as apparent aboveground tank areas, ponds, pits, sumps, landfills, <br /> and heavy-industry or oil-field-related developments, were not observed at the: site in <br /> the photographs reviewed. <br /> The 1937 photograph depicts the site as agricultural land. The land to the norti, south, <br /> east, and west is agricultural land. <br /> The 1952 photograph depicts the site as agricultural land. The land to the norti, south, <br /> and east is agricultural land.
