BOX 281 <br /> FOLSOM, CA 95763 <br /> Re: TRACY BLVD CHEVRON SR0076811 <br /> 3775 N TRACY BLVD <br /> TRACY, CA 95376 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of the <br /> application for a permit to (1) replace the existing dispensers with Wayne Ovation dispensers, (2) install <br /> Bravo Conv-82000 conversion frames, (3) change the exiting 89-octane UST to diesel UST, flush the 89- <br /> octane piping back into the tank using water, disconnect the 89-octane vapor recovery piping at the <br /> converted tank, cap both ends of the vapor recovery pipe with 2-inch steel caps, disconnect the converted <br /> diesel tank vent from the vent manifold and install a rain cap on the diesel vent, (4) install new ISD <br /> boards/software and cold start the monitoring system on the underground storage tank(UST)system at the <br /> above noted address. The permit has been approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for any <br /> applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Stacy Rivera at(209)468-3440 to arrange the fallowing appointments(a 48-hour notice is <br /> required for inspection appointments). <br /> a. Sensor functionality:Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to ensure that <br /> monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 California Code of Regulations <br /> and the Health&Safety Code. A copy of the alarm history shall be printed prior to performing <br /> the"cold start'of the monitoring system and made available at the time of EHD inspection. <br /> b. Leak detector test: Electronic line leak detectors must be tested to confirm that the device can <br /> detect a leak of 3 gallons per hour at 10 psi. <br /> c. Verification of the dispenser footprints contained by the under dispenser containment sumps <br /> (UDCs). <br /> d. Visual Inspection of the piping within the dispensers for any leaks. <br /> e. 24-hour hydrostatic test(or equivalent)on all impacted sumps(where piping was terminated) <br /> f. Provide hazardous waste determination and proof of proper disposal for the generated 89-octane <br /> tank/piping rinsate. <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the UST system prior to the EHD inspection <br /> and approval. <br /> 4. Secondary containment testing for the impacted sumps(where piping was terminated)is required six <br /> months after installation. Provide 48 hours notification to the EHD when this test is scheduled. <br /> 5. If concrete will be broken near any tank,a secondary containment test must be performed on the <br /> impacted tank once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines. <br />
