Box 950 <br /> San Andreas, CA 95249 <br /> Subject: Soil Sampling at 6752 East Waterloo Road, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr. Talia: <br /> ATC Associates Inc. has prepared this letter to summarize soil sampling activities at the above <br /> referenced site on June 18, 2002. At 12:00 p.m., Mr. Drew Van Allen with ATC Associates <br /> arrived on site. Mr. Van Allen met with representatives of Keith Talia, Inc. and the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Division(SJCEHD). Mr. Van Allen collected two soil samples at <br /> the locations and depths specified by Mr. Raymond Von Flue of the SJCEHD beneath the former <br /> two dispensers. The samples were identified as "Regular 1" and "Plus 1" at the direction of Mr. <br /> Von Flue. The samples were placed on ice and transported under chain of custody <br /> documentation to Argon Laboratories Inc. (DHS #2359)in Ceres, California. <br /> Argon analyzed the samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) by EPA <br /> method 8015; benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and xylenes (BTEX) by EPA method 8020; <br /> methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA), di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), <br /> ethyl tertiary butyl ether (ETRE), tertiary amyl methyl ether (TAME), 1,2- dichloroethane (1,2- <br /> DCA), and 1,2 dibromoethane (EDB) utilizing EPA method 8260; and total lead by DHS LUFT <br /> method.
