WORK LIMITATIONS <br /> Field personnel will not be allowed to eat, drink, or smoke within the Exclusion Zone. <br /> These activities will be permitted only in areas designated by the SSHO. <br /> The use of contact lenses for vision correction is acceptable unless Self Contained <br /> Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) use is required. Also, certain job functions may require the <br /> removal of contact lenses, even with the use of approved eye protection, such as mixing <br /> chemicals, fiber-glassing operations, welding, and potential H2S exposure. Contacts <br /> shall not be used as a substitute for approved eye protection. <br /> Personnel with facial hair, except those with mustaches that do not interfere with the <br /> proper fit of the respirator, will not be permitted into work areas as facial hair interferes <br /> with fitting of respirators. <br /> Work will be performed during daylight hours only, unless approved by SSHO. <br /> Formal periods of rest for personnel may be required in hot weather and/or during <br /> strenuous activity. <br /> DISPOSAL OF MATERIALS GENERATED ON SITE <br /> Contaminated or"clean" material, generated through the site works, may be stored on the <br /> site property in a secured area. However, it will be the responsibility of the client to <br /> dispose of both contaminated and"clean" materials to appropriate facilities. <br /> EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCEDURES <br /> SITE EMERGENCY <br /> In the event of an injury, fire/explosion, accident, equipment failure, all personnel shall <br /> follow the provisions of this HASP.
