UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK MONITORING PROGRAM <br /> I. WRITTEN MONITORING PROCEDURES <br /> 1. Site Name: 7-Eleven Facility No. 21756 <br /> 2. Site Address: 853 E. Yosemite, Manteca, CA 95336 <br /> 3. Describe the frequency of performing the monitoring method. <br /> The tanks are single wall steel and are monitored monthly using Statistical Inventory <br /> Reconciliation(SIR). The lines are single wall steel and are monitored constantly using <br /> mechanical leak detectors. <br /> 4. What method and equipment will be used for performing the monitoring? <br /> The piping system is tested annually with line tightness test and are constantly monitored <br /> with Red Jacket X.L.D. Leak Detectors which are equipped with Flow Restrictors. The SIR <br /> will be performed by Simmons Corporation. The TIDEL EMS3500 tank gauge will be used <br /> to measure daily inventory. <br /> 5. Describe the location(s)where the monitoring will be performed. <br /> The Red Jackets are located in the turbine pit. The ATG probes are located in the tanks. <br /> Simmons will forward the monthly report to Southland for review and the reports will be <br /> placed at the site in the red compliance manual located next the TIDEL gauge. <br /> 6. List the name(s) of the person(s) responsible for performing the monitoring and/or <br /> maintaining the equipment. <br /> The individual(s)responsible for monitoring the equipment is/are the store operator(s). The <br /> store operator(s)for this store is Rose Knapp. The Southland Corporation is responsible <br /> for maintaining the equipment. <br /> 7. Reporting format: <br /> Simmons will send monthly reports to Southland for review and placement at the store. <br /> 8. State the preventive maintenance schedule for the monitoring equipment Note: The <br /> maintenance schedule shall he in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. <br /> Equipment repairs and replacement will be performed as needed. Additionally, in <br /> accordance with the manufacturer's instructions,the monitoring equipment will be tested <br /> annually to certify that it is functioning properly. <br /> 9. Describe the training needed for the operation of both the tank system and the <br /> monitoring equipment. <br /> Training is provided for new employees. Training refreshers are offered as needed. The <br /> operations manual for the equipment was provided to the store operator when the equipment <br /> was installed. Training also includes emergency procedures and spill clean-up. <br />
