The tank inspection was conducted by San Joaquin
County, Public Health Services-Environmental Health Division. Southland responded to the
report and had tightened the loose line leak detector May 19, 1992 above the medium fuel grade
Red Jacket turbine. No further leakage could be detected following the repair.
Per our conversation, Southland is not liable to conduct immediate soils investigation, but will
have to address potential hydrocarbon-impacted soils at such time the underground tanks are
replaced, removed, or petitioned for closure.
Please call if you have questions regarding this project.
Sincerely,
ALTON GEOSCIENCE
LQ¢
John De George
Project Manager
cc: Bud Good, Southland Environmental Services
5670 Stoneridge Drive,Suite 6
Pleasanton,Dalifornia 94586
(510)734-8134•FAX(510)734-8420
