TH1 SOLTTHLAND COR1=1O1-ZATSON
CENTRAL PAC = F TCC EJ, = V = StON
GAIE;OLSNE DEIARTMENI' — 2286
For Interoffice Correspondence Only
Limit Each Letter To One Subject
DATE: January 22, 1986 ! it \ ,
T0: Dave v\KU, ON\Gc
E RMS
FROM: Kathy
SUBJECT: Permit To Operate Update with San Joaquin County
I called San Joaquin County per your request to ask them
about the plot plans, etc. I spoke with Mr . Ron Valinoti
and this is what he said:
After the fees are received by them, on-site inspections will
be made by San Joaquin personnel . They will draw up a plot
plans.
After they have completed the drawings, precision testing
will have to be done. I asked Mr . Valinoti if we would be
notified once the on-site inspections were completed , and he
said he would try his best to let us know. Otherwise, we
won't know when to start setting up the testing without
making a bunch of phone calls.
Based on the information we gave to the state in the 1984
Haz. Substance Storage statements, San Joaquin County will
have us select the 1-8 choices for monitoring wells. They
will use the i .d. numbers we assigned to each tank.
Mr . Valinoti said the deadline for all of the above was
9-1-86 and that they have to have the on-site inspections
completed by 6-1-86. He also thought the state might extend
its deadline of 9-1-86 because so many of the counties are
just now getting started.
So it looks like what we need to do right at this moment-is
get the fees to San Joaquin County because Mr. Valinoti said
the on-site inspections are scheduled in the order that the
fees are received.
