RUBLE WALL TANKS <br /> - - July 15, 1996 <br /> Pioneering primary and Secondary Containment Systems <br /> Feature #4 <br /> The Quality Checks <br /> Benefits <br /> • Visual checks are made of the steel tank and the Tank Jacket <br /> constantly throughout the process. <br /> • After construction of the steel tank, a 3-5 psi pressure check is <br /> made and all joints which are "water/soap" tested reviewed for <br /> leaks: <br /> • After application of the Tank Jacket over the steel tank, the <br /> Jacket is pressure checked, 1 psi, with all joints "water/soap <br /> tested to check for leaks. <br /> • Once all pressure checks are complete, a 10-12"in/hg of vacuum <br /> is placed on the Tank Jacket. This vacuum is retained during the <br /> storage, transportation and installation, assuring;the Tank Jacket <br /> is leak-free. <br /> As an option to potentially replace the installation Precision <br /> Tank Test, an EPA compliant vacuum test can be conducted on <br /> the Tank Jacket to assure the tank system is leak free.
