The Lubrizol vent sump (1-12)sensor failed when tested. The sensors monitoring the liquid level in the interstitial space shall be maintained so that a breach in the primary or secondary containment is detected before the hazardous substance is released into the environment. The sensor was replaced and retested during the inspection. A"UST Retrofit Verification with Inspector Already Onsite' form has been completed and provided to the operator and contractor. This is a minor violation. CORRECTED. 321 All releases in secondary piping do not flow to a collection sump. All jumper hoses in UDCs 1/2 through 7/8 were still attached and boots were not pulled back, and jumper hoses in UDC 9/10 were disconnected but were pointing upward. Any potential release from the primary containment into the secondary containment in the product piping does not flow into a collection sump. All secondary containment systems shall be sloped so that all releases will flow to a collection sump located at the low point of the underground piping. The technician onsite disconnected all pertinent jumper hoses and ensured that any potential release from the primary containment into the secondary containment in the product pi in does flow into a collection sump. This is a Class II violation. CORRECTED. 325 Spill container failed to contain a minimum capacity of five gallons. The 91-octane spill container was repaired prior to testing. All spill containers shall have a minimum capacity of five gallons and be capable of containing a spill or overfill until it is detected or cleaned up. The technician onsite replaced the"O" ring, cleaned the drain valve, and tested the spill container with passing results. This is a minor violation. CORRECTED.
