The 91 Bravo box float and chain in the number 5/6 and 7/8 sumps failed to stop the flow of product <br /> at the dispenser when tested. All monitoring equipment shall be maintained to activate an audible and <br /> visual alarm or stop the flow of product at the dispenser when it detects a leak. The service technician <br /> adjusted the chain and verified functionality. Corrected on site. <br /> 310. Approximately one quart of liquid was removed from the 91 turbine sump. If water could enter into <br /> the secondary containment by precipitation or infiltration, it must be removed and disposed of properly. <br /> Upon arrival the technician had already removed the liquid from the sump. The water line could be <br /> observed indicating how high the liquid had reached. Technician placed the liquid into the hazardous <br /> waste drum on site. Ensure that the turbine and dispenser sumps are maintained free of liquid. <br /> Corrected on site. <br /> 311. The 87 line leak detector failed to detect a leak when tested. All line leak detectors shall be capable <br /> of detecting a 3-gallon per hour leak at 10 psi. The service technician adjusted the leak detector, <br /> retested it, and it passed.
