MW
#1 and#2 were sampled on July 25 and MW#3 and#4 were sampled on August 1. Due to the
disjointedness of MW#3, the pump became lodged in the well. On August 1, a pry bar was used
to dislodge the pump and MW#3 and #4 were sampled.
These wells surround an underground storage tank in the SEC of the subject property. Each of
the four wells had approximately five casing volumes of water extracted prior to the actual sample
taken.
For MW #1 and MW#2, a bailer was used to sample these two wells. After sampling, the bailer
was washed inside and out with a Trisodium Phosphate (TSP) solution and triple rinsed with DI
water. The bailer rope was also washed after each MW sampling. A purge pump was used to
sample MW# 3 and MW#4. After sampling, the pump was cleaned and purged with the TSP
solution.
Two - one liter samples were drawn from each MW and placed in an ice chest at approximately
4p C. The requested testing is for TPH and EPA 625. Four glass sample bottles for MW#1 and
#2 were delivered to JL Labs on Thursday afternoon at 4:00 P.M., July 25, 1996. Four glass
sample bottles for MW#3 and #4 were delivered to JL Labs on Thursday afternoon, August 1,
1996, at 4:07 P.M..
We appreciate the opportunity to provide this service for you.
