These wells surround an underground
storage tank in the SEC of the subject property. All of the monitoring wells had approximately
four casing volumes of water extracted prior to the actual sample taken, thus ensuring the
sampling of formation groundwater. The water level in all of the wells was higher than in
January.
After sampling each MW, the bailer was washed inside and out with a Trisodium Phosphate
(TSP) solution and triple rinsed with DI water. The bailer rope was also washed after each MW
sampling. MW#3 was sampled last. A battery operated pump was used to purge and sample this
well.
Two - one liter samples were drawn from each MW and placed in an ice chest. The requested
testing is for TPH and EPA 625. The eight glass sample bottles were delivered to JL Labs under
COC, after overnight refrigeration, on Wednesday morning, April 17, 1996, at 10:45 P.M.
We appreciate the opportunity to provide this service for you.
