These wells surround an underground
storage tank in the SEC of the subject property. Monitoring well #2 did not have any water in the
well, therefore no sample was obtained from this well. As can be noted from the following data,
each well had a relatively small amount of water in the casing. The three standard parameters -
Temp, Ec and pH were not measured due to the small amount of water in each well. Therefore,
five casing volumes were extracted before the actual sample was taken.
After each sample event, the bailer was washed inside and out with a Trisodium Phosphate (TSP)
solution and triple rinsed with DI water. The bailer rope was also changed for each monitoring
well. Two liters were drawn from each well for analyses and placed in an ice chest at
approximately 4°C. The requested testing is for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH), and EPA
625. The six liter glass bottles were delivered to JL Labs on August 18, 1994, after overnight
refrigeration.
We appreciate the opportunity to provide this service for you.
