INTRODUCTION <br /> The following Unauthorized Release Report has been prepared in accordance with <br /> Section 2652 of Title 23, California Administrative Code to notify the appropriate <br /> regulatory agencies of possible leakage from two courtyard No. 6 fuel tanks, a sump, and an <br /> underground No. 6 fuel delivery pipeline at Newark Sierra Paperboard Corporation, <br /> 800 West Church Street, Stockton, California. See Figure 1 for site location map and <br /> Figure 2 for site plan. Concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in <br /> laboratory analyses of soil samples collected during inplace closure operations outlined in <br /> American Environmental Management Corporation's (AEMC) Closure Plan of April 1989 <br /> for two No. 6 fuel tanks, a sump, and an underground pipeline at Newark Sierra <br /> Paperboard Corporation (formerly Gold Bond Building Products). <br /> Page 1 <br />
