The low viscosity of the #6 fuel which was contained in the tanks and pipeline
precludes the possibility for Precision tank testing. Therefore, no past precision
tank testing has occurred, failures or passing.
2. Enclosed are revised drawings of the angle boring locations, depths, and sampling
points. Two (2) soil samples from each of the three (3) angle borings will be
collected.
3. Enclosed is a copy of the original Closure Plan bearing the seal of a Registered
Geologist. This addendum also carries the seal of a Registered Geologist.
4&5. These drawings show soil sampling locations, angles of
borings, cross-sections (side-views) of tanks and sump, and where the borings
terminate.
e) As mentioned previously, two (2) soil samples will be collected from each of
three (3) borings.
f) As mentioned previously, no monitoring records of the tanks, sump, or pipeline
are available.
g) If groundwater is encountered during drilling operations, a sample of this water
Ube collected by lowering a thoroughly decontaminated stainless steel, Teflon,
or acrylic bailer into the borehole. The collected groundwater sample will be
placed into two (2) one-liter amber jars, labeled, written in on a chain-of-custody
sheet, placed in an ice chest with ice, and kept chilled until the samples' delivery to
AEMC's EPA-certified laboratory. The samples will be analyzed for TPH (#6
fuel range).
h) Enclosed is a San Joaquin County drilling permit application signed by the C-57
driller (B&F Drilling, Inc.).
u.iWUU2) Page 1
