PIPELINE CLOSURE <br /> All fuel product has been removed from the pipeline. The pipeline will be capped on each <br /> end. A soil sample will be taken every 20 linear feet along the length of the underground <br /> portion of the pipeline. Soil samples will be taken 2 feet directly below the bottom of the <br /> pipeline. See Figures 7 and 8 for drilling locations. All boreholes will be filled with a <br /> cement slurry upon completion. <br /> Drilling will be conducted by B & F Drilling Inc., utilizing a mobile B53 truck-mounted <br /> drilling rig. <br /> Sampling, decontamination, and drilling procedures for the pipeline closure will be the <br /> same as those for the sump and tanks closure. Soil samples from the pipeline closure will <br /> be analyzed for TPH, and oil and grease. <br /> Page 7 <br />
