This is generally the same
plan that was submitted to your office about a year and a half ago. The only modification
to the plan has been to increase well diameters to four inches.
As AEMC understands, since the monitoring plan is a modified variation of State
Monitoring Alternative No. 2, it will have to be submitted to the Regional Water Quality
Control Board (RWQCB) after your review, along with a check for $2,750.00 in order to be
granted a variance from the underground tank regulations with respect to monitoring
alternatives.
Upon receipt of your comments regarding the plan, AEMC will submit the plan along with
a check to the RWQCB for their approval.
It is also AEMC's understanding that a check for $35.00 is necessary to pay for your review
time and that any additional work performed by your office will be billed at $35.00 per
hour. For this purpose, a check for $35.00 has also been included.
Should you have anyquestions regarding the above, please feel free to contact Glenn
Meeks at (916) 364-8872.
Sincerely,
0
James F.
