Date : 02/08/2018 <br /> Manufacturer training : <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> NOTES <br /> On site for the following inspections : <br /> -Witnessed 1 hour secondary piping pressure test of the 87-product piping , 91 -product piping , 87-vent piping , 91 -vent piping , <br /> and vapor recovery piping . All passed . <br /> -Witnessed secondary soap test of all piping and penetrations . All passed . <br /> -Verified 1 /8" or greater slope on all piping , to a containment sump with an audible/visual alarm . <br /> -Verified appropriate backfill ( pea gravel ) . <br /> -Verified burial depth of piping. <br /> - Pipe setbacks do not meet the manufacturer' s recommended widths . According to NOV Red Thread IIA installation <br /> instructions , there shall be a minimum separation of 4" between pipes , 2 1 /2" on crossovers , and 6" from trench walls . One <br /> crossover was observed to be less than 2 1 /2" . One section of piping was observed with less than 4" separation between <br /> pipes . The contractor adjusted the piping separation , but altered the slope of the piping , causing it to slope in the opposite <br /> direction . Several of the widths between the piping and the trench walls were observed to be less than 6 " . Additional <br /> verification inspections will be needed for piping setbacks and slope . <br /> `*Additional inspections are needed . See the permit approval letter dated December 15 , 2016 for a complete list of inspections <br /> required . All appointments must be scheduled 48 hours in advance . <br /> The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and Safel <br /> Code .
