26 May 1998
AGE -NC Project No. 97-0326
6.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based upon data collected from the site, AGE recommends:
• Preparation and execution of "a work plan for the investigation of the vertical and lateral
extent of contamination at this site" as required by the PHS-EHD.
Installation of ground water monitoring wells to assess ground water for hydrocarbons as
impacted soil has been encountered within 15 feet of ground water during the installation of _
soil borings at the site.
Research a site having known hydrocarbon contamination in ground water east of the subject
property for possible effects of this nearby release on the subject property. Permission should
be obtained for use of a monitoring well near the eastern property line during the
investigation of the subject property.
7.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based upon field
measurements and analytical results provided by an independent laboratory. Evaluations of the
geologic/hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a
limited number of available data points (i.e. soil samples) and subsurface conditions may vary away
from these data points. No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional
recommendations contained in this report.
Adronced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
