Does the "Haz Com Right to Know / Emergency Response" training include hazardous waste handling
(container labeling, identification of hazardous waste)?
2. Violation 132 requires you to document waste oil and waste antifreeze tanks daily inspections using the
attached form or equivalent. Please send me a statement that you will be doing these inspections and
documenting on the form.
3. Violation 605 requires you to dispose of the brake rotor shavings as hazardous waste and send the
disposal manifest to me.
4 Note that drained used oil filters only require the following labeling: "drained used oil filters", accumulation
start date. Hazardous waste labeling is not required.
Please respond in writing to the above items by February 20, 2012
Thank you,
Garrett Backus
Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
600 E Main Street, Stockton CA 95202-3029
telephone: (209) 468-2986
fax: (209) 468-3433
email: gbackus@sjcehd,com
hUp://www.n.jgov.org/ehd/1'rogrnnts/Others/unl IlcdatUtt
From: DAVID CORONA [mailto:dc.music@live.com]
Sent: Monday, February 13, 2012 9:28 AM
To: Garrett Backus [EH]
Subject: TRAINING
Hi, here is the file for the training.
