This <br /> additional testing was performed based on recommendations made in our report dated <br /> June 17, 1998. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> 1. D.C. current was applied to the tanks using a portable rectifier and the existing <br /> galvanic anodes to determine the amount of current required for complete <br /> corrosion protection, in accordance with NACE International's criteria. <br /> 2. Determine if the Diesel tank at the Public Safety Building was successfully <br /> isolated by City personnel from electrical ground. <br /> 3. Determine whether the existing magnesium anodes are sufficient enough to <br /> provide the required current. <br /> 4. Provide a report to include data, preliminary design information and <br /> recommendations. <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Public Safety Building <br /> This location consisted of two tanks and are as follows: <br /> • Diesel Tank, Approximately 2,000 gallon <br /> • Unleaded Tank, Approximately 12,000 gallon <br />
