Compliance Response
Date: 04/26/2010
Location: Shell 1-5
717 W. 81h Street, Stockton CA 95206
#8 The current EPA ID# CAL000306946 is being reactivated. Attached is the copy of
the form for the reactivation that was faxed to DTSC. It would take two weeks or so for
them to reactivate
#20 The labels on the two 55-gal drums were mostly properly labeled except missing
the checkmark for "liquid". It's an overlook since the big description of"dirty water" was
already written on the lable. The problem is fixed by checking the box for "liquid". The
plastic 30-gallon is also corrected by checking the box for "solid".
#50 This 30-gal container was originally used to store used absorbent. When these are
dried then the absorbent got transferred to a 5 gallon bucket to use for spill control
purposes. The label dated Dec 2008 was for the absorbent. But last few months old
nozzles and hoses were stored in there for waiting to be disposed. To correct the
problem the absorbent was separated into a different container with label "absorbent
only" for reuse. The new label was put on. Since no firm date was know when the 1 st
nozzle was put in but few months back could be no more than 4 or 5 months ago so the
date for first accumulation date is estimated to be December 1, 2009. These few old
nozzles and holes will be properly disposed of when the EPA ID # is reactivated.
Ramos Oil is already scheduled to pick up once the EPA# is reactivated in 2 weeks or
so.
#85 From time to time old lights bulbs were taken to HHW for disposal but they never
gave receipts. I will request for receipts for all future drop-offs
#4 The new financial responsibility is now up dated. Attached are the copies.
#11 The new leak detector was installed immediately.
#12 The new leak sensor was installed immediately.
#19 The overfill alarm was repaired immediately.
#45 The original cover was unbolted and stolen. A replacement was put in but got
stolen too. An unattractive and ugly plate was installed temporarily but SJEHD is not
happy due to a small opening. A local machine shop made a new cover and now
installed and secured.
