Table 4. Laboratory Test Results - Hydrocarbon Compounds 2/ (Continued)
1/ Asterisk(*)denotes monitoring events which were conducted by Condor Earth Technologies,Inc. Well casing and ground-water elevations are listed in feet, and
referenced to Mean Sea Level(MSL).
2/ Ground-water samples were analyzed by Sequoia Analytical, 819 Striker Avenue, Suite 8, Sacramento,California 95834. "NA"denotes that an analysis was not
performed for that chemical parameter. "ND"denotes the chemical parameter was not detected during analysis. "NL"denotes a parameter that is not listed by the State.
3/ Detection limits for nitrogen compounds varied between analytical runs. However,a single(conservative)detection limit is shown at the top of each column for
convenience. Actual,run-specific,detection limits for 1,2-DCP and other volatile organic compounds are shown in brackets behind the reported analytical result.
Chemical compounds are abbreviated as follows: 1,2-DCP(1,2-dichloropropane),PCE(tetrachloroethene),DBCM(dibromochloromethane),CF(chloroform),BDCM
(bromodichloromethane), DINO(Dinoseb, or(2-sec-butyl-4,6'-dinitrophenol),2,4-D((2,4-dichlorophenoxy)acetic acid)),2,4-DB(4-(2,4-dichlorophenoxy)butyric acid),
•
DP(Dichloroprop,or 2-(2,3-dichlorophenoxy)propionic acid), MC(methylene chloride,aka chloromethane).
4/ Laboratory nitrate(NO,)test results were converted to nitrogen-as-nitrate(N-NO,)values by multiplying each reported result by 0.225. Molecular N-ratios are based on
atomic weights. Under normal soil conditions,total-nitrogen(N)is approximately equal to the sum of TKN and N-NO3_
5/ Statewide water quality goals have been established for several specific compounds by the SWRCB. Values shown include primary and secondary State and federal
maximum concentration levels(MCL).
6/ Ground water samples from MW-2 and MW-6 were tested for carbamate pesticides, including Propoxur,by EPA Method 632. No pesticides were detected.
7/ Samples collected by Central Valley Region, RWQCB, as splits from Sierra-Pacific samples, same date, same time, for comparison of a)
laboratories utilized, and b) sampling with submersible pump versus sampling with disposable bailer for volatile organic analysis (VOA).
8/ These 40-m1 VOA samples were collected with disposable bailers. All other VOA samples collected with submersible pump.
•
Siena-Pacific Groundwater Consultants, Ibrc.
