Dual -point and single -
point technology models are ideal for loca-
:.ions with high or low water tables.
The Dual -Point Hydrostatic Sensors ideal for
high groundwater areas, and ran differentiate
between a high-level alarm condition and a
low-level alarm condition. If an inner -wall
Ieak rccurs, the brine solution seeps into Cae
tank or line primary space lowering the brine
level in the reservoir. The Dual -Point Sensor
will then trigger a low level alarm. If an outer -
wall leak occurs, the groundwater seeps into
the reservoir. The Dual -Point Sensor will then
trigger a high level alarm.
The Single -Point Sensor is ideal for low
0 oundwater areas, since it only detects low-
level alarm conditions. If an inner wall leak
occurs, the brine solution seeps into the
tank. If an outer -wall leak occurs, the brine
solution leaks out of the tank. [a both cases,
the brine level decreases and the Single -
Point Sensor triggers a low level alarm. This
Sensor should not be used to monitor the
secondary space of a pressurized line.
Single -Point Sump Sensor shown in 6.0"
configuration length.
p.2
Features
Dual -Point Sensor alarm conditions:
• Leak in inner wall triggers a low level alarm
• Leak in outer vrall triggers a high level alarm in high groundwater areas; low level
alarm in low groundwater areas.
• Desig-ted to meet CaIlfornias requirement for secondary space monitoring for
tanks and lines as required by AB 2481.
Single -Point Sensor alarm conditions:
• Leak in inner or outer gall triggers a low level ala -m in low groundwater areas.
• Designed to meet California's requirement for secondary space monitoring for
tanks as required by AB 2481.
Temperature Rating
Storage:
-40 degrees C to + 60 degrees C
Operating:
-25 degrees C to +5C degrees C
Rests in salt brine solution of uu to 30%
calcium chloride
Cable length:
12 feet
Standard Models
Single -Point Sensor Dimensions:
6.0" high, 2.5" diameter
Dual -Point Sensor Dimensions:
77.3" high, 2.5" diameter
• Withstands removal from reservoir
several times a year without sensor
damage
• Clear plastic housing for visual
inspection of float operation
Sensor Form '-Vumber:794380-301
Description: Single -Point Hydrostatic Reservoir Sensor
Sensor Form Number:794380-303
Description: Dual -Point Hydrostatic Reservoir Sensor
Hydrostatic Reservoir Sensor Console Capability
The Series 7943 Hydrostatic Reservoir Sensor is compatible wit4 the following consoles:
Console Series
TLS -350R' 8482
TLS-3E0>TLS-350.1' 8470
'LS -3001 8485
`Note: An Intemitial Sensor Interfaoe tdodu:e Is xquiced for the use of the hyd:ostatic Sensors with the
11S-350, TIS -350), EMC and TLS -3508 Consoles.
For more information call
1-888-561-7942
VEEDER-ROOT C 2(03 V -der --Root Company • 125 Povider Fort Drive • Simsbury, CL 06070 • USA
Telephone: 860-65i-2700 'Fax: 860-651-2719 • vrvwveeder.com
VR 13747 Mi 0576047-067 Rev.
