Dual -point and single -
point technology models are ideal for loca-
tions with high or low water tables.
The Dual -Point Hydrostatic Sensor is ideal for
high groundwater areas, and can differentiate
between a high-level alarm condition and a
low-level alarm condition. If an inner -wall
leak occurs, the brine solution seeps into the
tank or line primary space lowering the brine
level in the reservoir. The Dual -Point Sensor
will then trigger a low level alarm. ifanouter-
wall leak occurs, the groundwater seeps into
the reservoir. The Dual -Point Sensor will then
trigger a high level alarm.
The Single -Point Sensor is ideal for low
groundwater areas, since it only detects low-
level alarm condiriors. [fan inner wall leak
occurs, the brine solution seeps into the
tank. If an outer -oval[ leak occurs, the brine
solution. leaks out of the tank. In both rases,
the brine level decreases and the Single -
Point Sensor triggers a low level alarm. This
Sensor should not be used to monitor the
secondary space of a pressurized line.
Single -Point Sump Sensor shown in 6.0"
configuration length.
VEEDER-R OOT
p.4
Features `n
Dual -Point Sensor alarm conditions:
• Leak in inner wall triggers a low level alarm
• Leak in outer wall triggers a high level alarm in high groundwater a_eas; low level
alar -ii in low groundwater areas.
• Designed to meet California's requirement for secondary space monitoring for
tanks and lines as required by AB 2481.
Single -Point Sensor alarm conditions:
• Leak in inner or cuter wall triggers a low level alarm in low groundwater areas.
• Designed to meet California's requirement for secondary space monitoring for
tanks as required by AB 2481.
Temperature Rating
Storage:
-40 degrees C to + 60 degrees C
Operating:
-25 degrees C to +50 degrees C
Rests in salt brine solution of up to 30%
calcium chloride
Cable length:
12 feet
Standard Models
Single -Point Sensor Dimensions:
6.0" high, 2.5' diameter
Dual -Point Sensor Dimensions:
173' high, 2.5" diameter
• Withstands removal from reservoir
several times a year without sensor
damage
• Clear plastic housing for visual
inspection of float operation
Sensor Form Number:794380-301
Description: Single -Point Hydrostatic Reservoir Sensor
Sensor Form Number: 79,+380-303
Description: Dual -Point Hydrostatic Resemoir Sensor
Hydrostatic Reservoir Sensor Console Capability
The Series 7943 Hydrostatic Reservoir Sensor is compatible with the following consoles:
Console swim
7LS-350R• 8482
TLS-350'/TLS-35QP 9470
TLS-3ooi 8485
•Nrxe: hr Interstitial Senso; Lntc-face Module is required for the use of the Hydrostatic Sensors with the
TLS -350 TU -350j, E67C and TLS -3508 Consoles.
For more information call
1-1388-561-7942
0 2003 '*eder-Root Company • 125 Powder Forest Drive - Simsbury, CT 06070 • USA
Telephone: 860-651-2700 • Fax : 860-651-2719 • vAvw.veeder.com
VR 137-47 PIN 0576047-067 Rev.
