General: <br />a. Notify appropriate/s governing regulatory agencies as required <br />b. All final surface work above the buried fueling system must be complete and include: <br />i. Asphalt <br />ii. Concrete, brick, and/or other hard surfaces <br />iii. Landscaping <br />c. Contractor must be onsite to make any repairs to the UST System identified by LDT <br />d. Any specialty equipment required shall be supplied by contractor <br />i. Example; confined space entry equipment <br />e. The entire fueling systems must be completed including electrical and communication wiring <br />2. Tanks: <br />a. Complete all tank work trim installation to include backfill, capping and manway/s <br />b. Remove all water ballast from tank/s <br />3. Tank Sumps: <br />a. Primary vent piping should be pressurized to test pressure <br />b. Secondary vent piping should be pressurized to test pressure <br />c. Tank gauging equipment must be completed including electrical <br />d. Turbine equipment must be completed including electrical <br />e. Leak detection equipment must be completed including electrical <br />f. All low voltage equipment must be completed <br />g. Secondary boots must be completed and include test ports reachable by LDT technicians <br />h. Tertiary boots must be completed and include test ports reachable by LDT technicians <br />4. Dispenser/s, UDC/s, Transition Sumps, and/or Piping Terminations: <br />a. Primary product piping should be pressurized to test pressure at a test fitting located at the <br />piping termination end or shear valve requiring a ball valve at the turbine <br />b. Vapor return, and/or return piping should be pressurized to test pressure at a test fitting located <br />at the piping termination end or shear valve <br />c. Shear valves must be disconnected from dispensers and caped with steel caps <br />d. Secondary boots must be completed and include test ports reachable by LDT technicians <br />i. Secondary piping including VR should be pressurized to test pressure <br />e.
