(See attached Figure 1). <br /> The scope of work will include: subsurface exploration and identification of the subsurface soil and <br /> groundwater conditions by means of drilling twenty-one exploratory borings at the site with truck- <br /> mounted drilling equipment. Location of the proposed borings is shown on the enclosed Figures 2 <br /> and 3. Exploratory drilling operations would be conducted by a staff geologist or soil engineer <br /> from our firm. One of the borings will be drilled to a depth of 45 feet to evaluate the liquefaction <br /> potential at the site. The subsurface profile would be logged and relatively undisturbed soil <br /> samples collected at appropriate depths. We anticipate that the exploratory drilling operations will <br /> be completed in three days. The borings will be backfilled with a concrete slurry grout from total I <br /> depth to surface. <br /> Additionally, two percolation tests will be performed on borings sited at the location of the two <br /> proposed storm water retention ponds. The borings are anticipated to be drilled to five feet deep, <br /> the proposed depth of the ponds. <br />
