Dear Ms. Turkatt On behalf of Ridgeway MacKenzie Partners, Earth Systems Consultants Northern Califomia (ESCNC) is submitting this workplan to provide an geotechnical soil evaluation for the 14.57 acre parcels located at 1881 Rustan Road, Tracy, California. (See attached Figure 1). The scope of work will include: subsurface exploration and identification of the subsurface soil and groundwater conditions by means of drilling twenty-one exploratory borings at the site with truck- mounted drilling equipment. Location of the proposed borings is shown on the enclosed Figures 2 and 3. Exploratory drilling operations would be conducted by a staff geologist or soil engineer from our firm. One of the borings will be drilled to a depth of 45 feet to evaluate the liquefaction potential at the site. The subsurface profile would be logged and relatively undisturbed soil samples collected at appropriate depths. We anticipate that the exploratory drilling operations will be completed in three days. The borings will be backfilled with a concrete slurry grout from total I depth to surface. Additionally, two percolation tests will be performed on borings sited at the location of the two proposed storm water retention ponds. The borings are anticipated to be drilled to five feet deep, the proposed depth of the ponds.
