0 0
observed. All issues with Yard 1 are resolved. Trailers are lined up to a flatbed for new
tire storage and staging.
The total of tires at the Open Air Flea Market was 10.
The inspection continued to Yard 3: the Alpine Yard. No great change was apparent. The
400 passenger tires that were on the ground at the previous inspection had been removed.
All trailers holding tires were still on site with the addition of ten more empty trailers that
are roadworthy and registered. A thirty-day extension was requested by Jaime in order to
clear up storage issues at this yard. Tires were not counted, but it was agreed that over
500 tires exist on site. Jaime was told that the thirty-day extension would be the last
extension granted before the state would get involved with the permitting process.
Jerry Brannon plans to have all the tires and trailers out of the Alpine Yard completely
and cease using it for waste tire storage. Jaime and I discussed moving the existing tires
from the non-roadworthy trailers into in the roadworthy trailers and move them to Yard
1, which would exclude the tires from being counted as waste tires so long as they were
disposed of within 90 days. All tires hauled on the roadway will be manifested by a
registered hauler and manifests will be checked upon the next inspection. I requested that
for the next inspection all trailers be opened at all yards.
Manifests were reviewed in the shop office. CTLs from the last month are being filled out
correctly.
Inspection was concluded at 1:OOpm.
7,
