Immediately <br /> locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the <br /> EHD. <br /> 114 CCR 66266.81(a)(4)(B) Failed to retain copy of manifest or bill of lading for spent lead acid batteries for 3 years. <br /> Bills of lading or manifests for the management of lead acid batteries for the last three years were not found on site. A <br /> copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading or <br /> manifests for lead acid batteries for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br /> 117 HSC 25404(e)(4) Failed to report program data electronically. <br /> A submission to the California Electronic Reporting System (CERS)for the hazardous waste program has not been <br /> made. Beginning January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all new(or any changes to existing) <br /> hazardous waste information online to the CERS at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to include your hazardous <br /> waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant activities and required fields <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> 1-55gallon drum of used oil was not labeled. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following <br /> information: <br /> -the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 10 -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> - physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Because there was not a start accumulation date it could not be determined how long the waste has been on site. <br /> Immediately have a licensed hazardous waste hauler remove, under manifest. Within 30 days provide this office with a <br /> copy. <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for the last three years were not found on site. A copy of each bill of <br /> lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading for used oil filters for <br /> the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br /> Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil <br /> filters," and marked with an accumulation start date. Because it can not be determined how long the filters have been <br /> onsite, Immediately recycle these filters under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD. <br /> Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Facilities that <br /> generate one ton or more of used oil filters may store the filters for up to 180 days.
