Copies of uniform manifests and consolidated manifests for the disposal of hazardous waste were not found on site. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. 114 CCR 66266.81(a)(4)(B) Failed to retain copy of manifest or bill of lading for spent lead acid batteries for 3 years. Bills of lading or manifests for the management of lead acid batteries for the last three years were not found on site. A copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading or manifests for lead acid batteries for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. 117 HSC 25404(e)(4) Failed to report program data electronically. A submission to the California Electronic Reporting System (CERS)for the hazardous waste program has not been made. Beginning January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all new(or any changes to existing) hazardous waste information online to the CERS at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to include your hazardous waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant activities and required fields 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. 1-55gallon drum of used oil was not labeled. Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required information. 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for the last three years were not found on site. A copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading for used oil filters for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start date. Because it can not be determined how long the filters have been onsite, Immediately recycle these filters under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD. Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Facilities that generate one ton or more of used oil filters may store the filters for up to 180 days. Immediately recycle these filters under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD.
