We have very tight security and we need to know in advance,in writing,when any inspection has to be done.on our premises. Ms.Fase cane to our gate about two weeks ago requesting that she see our dispatcher,Mr.Jessie Santos,to do an inspection on our tire records. Jessie.was on vacation ,so our receptionist came and asked me about letting her in. I went to our gate and spoke to Ms.Fase via our speakerphone and advised her that she did not have an appointment and that we needed a letter-verifying who and what the nature of her inspection would be. I told her my name which should have been a clear indication of my authority. She informed me that she would call Jessie that next week. I told her I needed her to send me a letter indicating what agency she was from,etc. She said OK and left. Today I see her entering our building after making an appointment with Jessie. Jessie knows our rules which I reminded hirci of today. But,Ms.Fase apparently felt she could ignore the request of one of the owners of the company and make an appointment without having sent a letter as requested. If Ms-Fase wishes to ignore my authority she can visit other facilities. I am requesting that someone else is assigned to do,her job. I am also asking that I have a letter on file. indicating why this inspection is necessary from you_ I need something in writing. I think ABIs.Fase needs to be reminded that even though she works for a government agency and does have the authority to do inspections,she does need to respect the rules of company owners.
