Diesel spill area occurred next to the auto side, north of the auto side pump islands. <br /> OBSERVATIONS:On arrival,diesel fuel was observed on the ground north of the auto side pump islands.The fuel appeared to have spilled <br /> onto the ground from a parked camper vehicle and flowed for approximately 90 feet before entering the onsite storm drain system.The spilled <br /> fuel was observed inside the storm drain manhole on Santos Avenue north of the site.Implement all necessary surface and storm drain system <br /> cleanup(triple rinsing)to remove signs of residual diesel contamination.Notify the EHD in advance of all follow up clean up actions,and submit <br /> proof of correction/disposal to the EHD.Notify the San Joaquin Environmental Health Department(EHD)48-hours in advance of all future <br /> clean up activities.Submit to the EHD a copy of the initial and the final disposal manifest(s)for the transportation and disposal of the generated <br /> clean up debris,storm drain rinsate,and all waste absorbent generated today. <br /> VIOLATIONS: <br /> ® Discharge of any Waste, including Sewage <br /> (CA Health and Safety Code 5411) <br /> ® Discharge of Waste or Sewage to Water or within 150' of Waterway <br /> (SJC Ordinance Code Section 9-1125.3, 9-1125.4) <br /> ® Improper Disposal of a Hazardous Waste <br /> (CA Health and Safety Code 25189.5) <br /> ❑ Other: <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTIONS/ORDER: <br /> Immediately contain, clean up, and dispose of the waste at an authorized, permitted location. <br /> Ensure that clean up personnel possess adequate training. <br /> ® Investigate and abate contamination under the oversight of the appropriate lead agency. <br /> ® Submit copies of hazardous waste manifests/disposal records to the EHD within 30 days. <br /> ZI Other: Correct By: Immediately <br /> COST RECOVERY:All EHD Staff Time Associated with this Spill Response is Billed to the Responsible Party at <br /> the Current Hourly Rate.
