EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> PRASE H ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT <br /> SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATION <br /> AMERICAN SAVINGS BANK <br /> STOCKTON/AIR METRO <br /> 1888 LOCKHEED COURT <br /> STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> CRC Environmental Risk Management, Inc. (CRC) proposes performing a subsurface investigation at <br /> at 1888 Lockheed Court in Stockton, California. The purpose of this investigation is to determine if <br /> the soil at the subject property has been impacted by petroleum hydrocarbons from two (2) 3-stage <br /> clarifiers associated with a car wash and a plane wash. The work will consist of the following tasks: <br /> 1. Obtain appropriate permits for subsurface environmental investigation in accordance with county <br /> regulations. <br /> 2. Core seven (7) borings to 15 feet below ground surface (bgs), collect soil samples every five <br /> (5) feet and field. screen for Volatile Organics using a Photo Ionization Detector (PID). <br /> Samples will be forwarded to a California EPA-Certified Laboratory and analyzed as follows: <br /> SOIL SAMPLE ANALYTICAL METHODS <br /> EPA Method Modified EPA EPA Method EPA Method 8270 <br /> 41$ i l Method 8015 8240 <br /> Total Recoverable Diesel Volatile Semi-Volatile <br /> Petroleum Gasoline Organic Organic <br /> Hydrocarbons Compounds Compounds <br /> 3. Groundwater is not anticipated to be encountered at 15 feet. In the event groundwater is <br /> encountered, samples will be collected via hydropunch methods.
