Aboveground Storage Tank Assessment <br />QUALITY FLEET SERVICE CENTER <br />VAN DE POL ENTERPRISES, INC. <br />4899 South Airport Way, Stockton, California <br />1.0. INTRODUCTION <br />The purpose of this Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) Assessment is to assess the <br />condition of the waste oil tank (AST) used at QUALITY FLEET SERVICE CENTER <br />(Facility), located at 4899 South Airport Way, Stockton, California. Additionally, the <br />assessment addresses compliance with AST requirements for use as a vessel for <br />temporary storage and accumulation of the waste oil from Facilities commercial activity. <br />2.0. TANK ASSESSMENT <br />The purpose of this Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) Assessment is to assess that the <br />Facility meets the requirements for AST use for the purposes of temporary storing and <br />temporary accumulation of the waste oil from commercial activity at the Facility. The <br />Facility is located at 4895 South Airport Way, Stockton, California (37°53'48.4"N and <br />-121 °15'21.7"W). Figure 1 depicts an AST schematic, including the top, front (east <br />facing) and right (north facing) sides. The professional engineer AST assessment <br />certification is included after the title page. Specific sections of the assessment are also <br />certified in Table 1. <br />2.1. ABOVEGROUND STORAGE TANK (AST) DESCRIPTION <br />The waste oil AST is double walled, with the outer shell having a 110% containment <br />capacity of the inner tank. The AST is located within the basement of commercial oil <br />change services, which is constructed of monolith concrete. The AST description is <br />included as Table 2. <br />2.1.1. AST Name and Markings <br />The AST is identified by Facility personnel as the waste oil tank. There are labels clearly <br />legible on the top, north and east sides of the AST, including: <br />• Waste Oil; <br />• Waste disposal collection; <br />• Used oil (toxic); and <br />• Underwriters Laboratory (UL) placard. <br />
