San Joaquin County E&DED <br /> Environmental Health Department <br /> 1868 East Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, California 95205-6232 <br /> Telephone: (209)468-3420 Fax: (209) 468-3433 Web:www.sigov.org/ehd <br /> Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> Lodi Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram 1 1255 S Beckman Rd, Lodi January 08, 2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II, or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item # Remarks <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(x) Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br /> A drum of brake rotor metal fines, in the filter drum storage area, was labeled as hazardous waste and with an <br /> accumulation start date of July 17, 2018. <br /> Facilities who generate more than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month may store waste on site up to 90 days. <br /> Since this waste has been stored on site greater than 90 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste <br /> hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> In the filter drum storage area, one open container of paper oil filters and one open container of oily pads did not <br /> have observable hazardous waste labels. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be clearly marked with the following information: <br /> -the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties <br /> - physical state <br /> - composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. <br /> Provide a corrective action statement to the EHD within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Waste streams: Used oil,Antifreeze Coolant, Parts Washer waste, Brake Rotor Fines, Paper Oil Filters, Metal Oil <br /> Filters, Oily rags. <br /> An inspection report was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. The report was amended by <br /> the EHD on January 9, 2019 to upgrade the minor violations to Class 2 violations since a Class 1 violation was <br /> written for lack of a hazardous waste tank assessment for the used oil and antifreeze coolant tanks. The amende. <br /> report replaces the initial report. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by February 9, 2019. <br /> Page 8 of 9 <br />
