The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for AFTER HOUR POWERSPORTS as of January10, 2019. <br /> Open violations from November 14, 2016 inspection <br /> Violation#101 -Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number. <br /> This facility does not have a valid ID number to manage hazardous waste. A hazardous waste generator shall not <br /> treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without an ID number. If you or your <br /> business generates more than 100 kg of RCRA hazardous waste and/or more than one kg of acutely hazardous <br /> waste, then you need to obtain an EPA ID number. All others must obtain a State ID number. Go to the DTSC web <br /> site http://www.dtsc.ca.gov/IDManifest/PERMHWID.cfm for the form to apply for an ID number. Immediately obtain <br /> an ID number to manage hazardous waste and submit evidence to the EHD. <br /> Violation#301 -Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> There was a dark stain on the dirt next to two 55 gallon drums of used oil behind the shop along the west fence . <br /> One of the 55 gallon drums of oil had oil on the top of the drum below the dark stain on the dirt. Facilities shall be <br /> maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or <br /> surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean the dark stain , and <br /> manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation <br /> explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> Violation #403 - Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing <br /> hazardous waste. <br /> A green/white 55 gallon drum of used oil behind the shop along the west side of the fence was open during <br /> inspection. All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. <br /> Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or <br /> removing waste. <br /> Violation #601 -Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste <br /> stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. A brown 55 gallon drum of used oil and a <br /> green/white 55 gallon drum of used oil behind the shop along the west side of the fence did not have start <br /> accumulation dates. Since it cannot be determined how long the hazardous waste has been on site, immediately <br /> contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest. Submit a copy of the manifest to <br /> the EHD within 30 days. <br /> Violation#605 - Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> Containers of hazardous waste not completely labeled: <br /> -A brown 55 gallon drum of used oil behind the shop along the west side of the fence was not labeled <br /> -A green/white 55 gallon drum of used oil behind the shop along the west side of the fence was not labeled <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties <br /> - physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br />
