PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> In attendance were: <br /> Ben Escotto: SJCEHD Compliance Specialist <br /> Michael Kith: SJCEHD Lead Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist <br /> Bryce Perkins:Tuff Boy Environmental Compliance Officer <br /> Martin Harris: Tuff Boy Operations Manager <br /> Martin Harris, opened the discussion by presenting a list of goals that Tuff Boy hoped to attain <br /> during the course of the meeting. <br /> Tuff Boy Goals for SJCEHD Wasee Tire Meeting Held on October 19, 2010: <br /> 1. Better understanding of waste tire compliance rules <br /> 2. Identify ar•d align with goals of SJCEHD <br /> 0 Verify Tuff Boy's eligibility to be classified as tire dealer <br /> 4. inquire as to Tuft Boy's right to store good used tires as a dealer or non dealer <br /> b. Verify SJCEHD'S interpretation relating to the storage of tires in portable storage <br /> containers and whether such storage is considered indoor or outdoor storage <br /> 6. Clarify the meaning of tires to be classified in collection process" <br /> 7 Tuff Boy handling of Tuff Boy Leasing owned tires <br /> 8. Determine if further classification to that of a tire dealer may trigger any new use permit <br /> requirements <br /> 9. Previously proposed storage methods (2-ea.)/verify SJCEHD acceptance <br /> 10. SJCEHD posted $122'.59 per hour tillinq rate/deterrr„re what initiates charges. <br /> In response, Micnael Kith. explained that the primary role of SJCEHD was to educate and <br /> inform.
