When filling out waste tire manifests in such a situation simply leave the area of
the manifest that says "Facility Tire Program ID" (but fill in the name, phone number, and
address of the customer's site). When delivering such tires to customer with a TPID
number, fill in the TPID on the manifest where is says "Facility Tire Program ID." When
delivering such tires to a customer's site several times in a given year, then the customer
must obtain and have a TPID number.
Additional comments/questions by Tuff Boy submitted to SJCEHD on
October 01, 2010:
a. Tuff Boy question submitted to SJCEHD on August 11, 2010.
Does Tuff Boy need to maintain any manifest when it is hauling reusable tires?
SJCEHD response to Tuff Boy on August 19, 2010.
When hauling used tires of any type, a waste tire manifest must be filled out.
This does not apply when hauling 9 tires or less and/or using a vehicle that is not
registered waste tire hauling vehicle. In such situations, Bill of Ladings are sufficient.
Additional comments/questions by Tuff Boy submitted to SJCEHD on
October 01, 2010:
9
