The 132-gallon AST, is constructed of double walled steel. Fuel piping is
internally enclosed within the generator housing. The AST is located on a
concrete pad near the southwest comer of the Vehicle Sallyport. The AST is
filled by an outside vender in tanker trucks with up to 8,000-gallon total capacity.
Water Plant Fire Pumo: The Water Plant Fire Pump is located in the northwest
portion of the facility as shown on Figure 2. The Fire Pump AST filled with
diesel fuel is located internally to the Fire Pump housing that is skid mounted on a
concrete slab at the Water Plant as shown on Figure 5.
The 550 gallon AST is constructed of double wall steel enclosed within the Fire
Pump housing. Fuel piping is internal to the Fire Pump housing. The skid
mounted Fire Pump housing is located on a concrete pad on the west side of the
Water Plant as shown in Figure 5. The AST is filled by an outside vender in
tanker trucks with up to 8,000-gallon total capacity.
Table 3-1 AST Locations and Specifications
Tank or Tank Construction
Tank(Container) Container (Manufacturer and
Location Capacity (gallons) Tank Contents Date)
Double walled steel
Generator Yard 4 Tanks 10,000 Diesel (10,000- encased in areinforced
Facility gal. ea. gallons) concrete vault AST
(Convault 2013)
Double walled steel
Generator Yard 2000 Diesel fuel encased in a reinforced
Facility , concrete vault AST
(Convault 2013)
Double walled steel
Vehicle Sallyport 132 Diesel fuel encased AST (Generac
2013
Double walled steel
Water Plant 550 Diesel fuel encased AST
(Tigerflow 2013)
3.3 Surface Drainage and Drainage Controls
The majority of the surface drainage at the site flows to drop inlets, which in turn
flow to storm water pipes that discharge into a detention basin on the south side of
the facility. The basin is designed to receive, and retain the entire 100-yr 24-hr
storm. If flows exceed this storm event then the storm water will flow into an
additional retention basin prior to discharging into Littlejohn Creek. There is a
0.9 acre area behind the Generator Yard and Central Utility Plant that flows to an
agricultural ditch, which runs along the north edge of the site.
Drainage controls at the Generator Yard include a Baker ground level fill/spfll
containment of 20 gallon capacity and a perimeter curb.
8411599 Page 4
