If you are unable to locate a TSDF <br /> copy, a copy of the exemption report sent to DTSC will work, also. <br /> Your understanding of the proper usage for the CAS & CAD numbers is correct. The CAS <br /> number is for waste generated during emergency response cleanups and the CAD number is for <br /> waste generated at the Krohn Rd. facility. However, that is not the usage I observed on <br /> site when reviewing manifests for 2009 and 2008. Numerous manifests were observed using <br /> the CAD number listing a variety of site addresses as the 'Generator Site Address' . <br /> Others were observed using the CAS number but listing Krohn Rd as the 'Generator Site <br /> Address' . This is the usage confusion I was referring to in the inspection report. Any <br /> incorrect usages of these EPA ID numbers, or incorrect generator site addresses, should be <br /> corrected with DISC as soon as possible. At the time of the inspection there were only 2 <br /> manifests listed for 2010, for a total of 29.53 tons, and I was informed by the employees <br /> on site that those were from an emergency clean up, not the facility. If that information <br /> is inaccurate, please let me know so that I can have you placed in the correct permit <br /> category (25-50 tons/year) . You are currently in the 5-25 tons/year permit category. You <br /> will also be subject to the large hazardous waste generator requirements. Currently we <br /> have been inspecting you as a small hazardous waste generator. <br /> Of the 14 manifests submitted with your email, 2 of them list 2040 Krohn Rd. as the <br /> generator site address: <br /> -002390191JJK 10/21/08 <br /> -001834583FLE 10/29/07 <br /> 10 of them list 24155 S. Corral Hollow as the generator site address. There are no active <br /> EPA ID numbers for that site address. If these manifests are for waste generated at the <br /> Krohn facility, the site address should be listed as 2005 Krohn Rd.
