Telephone: (209)983-9660 <br /> Program Element: 1600-FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00049119 <br /> DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br /> C00049119 states: "COMPLAINANT FOUND A RAZOR BLADE IN THE BOTTOM OF PACKAGE OF PORK, CDFA WAS <br /> NOTIFIED BY COMPLAINANT." <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Store Director is aware of the complaint. He has been in contact with the complainant. <br /> Box cutters used by the meat department have the same blades as shown in photo(s)provided by CDFA. Blades are used to <br /> open boxes of product.These blades are not used to cut meat. <br /> When the meat is trayed up, a soaker pad is placed on the styrofoam tray prior to the meat being placed on the tray. The <br /> meat is then wrapped and labeled. Visual inspection of the styrofoam trays is made and any imperfections or foreign objects <br /> are removed.Any trays that are not clean are discarded. <br /> Per Store Director,four black PVC blade collection sites have been installed within the meat department for proper disposal of <br /> used razor blades. <br /> Pallets in the meat department have been moved and cleaned around and under. <br /> Unable to verify this date. <br /> Continue current practice of visual inspection of meat packaging products.
